The Kakadu dunnart is a small dasyurid marsupial described from Australia’s Top End. It is recorded in stony hills and woodland on gravelly ground.
It has sandy dorsal fur, a white belly, dark rings around the eyes, a broad face, and a short-haired tail.
Many collection records came from stony hills and gravelly foothills with Eucalyptus woodland.
In the holotype, the forefeet have short white hairs and the hindfeet are more thickly covered with white hairs.
The holotype has a thin, tapering tail longer than its nose-to-vent length.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
