On the northern shore of South Australia's Gulf St Vincent lives the Gulf St Vincent subspecies, A. i. rosinae, of the Slender-billed Thornbill.
It is small, with a short black bill, pale eyes, fine black-and-white forehead scalloping, and pale tips to the dark tail. The rosinae subspecies is olive gray with a buff rump.
It uses saline mudflat shrubland, especially samphire, foraging in tall dense cover mainly for insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
