The Western Thornbill is a small bird of southwestern Western Australia that searches for insects in the undergrowth. It has an olive-gray back and creamy-buff underparts.
The back is plain olive-gray and the underside creamy buff. The face and forehead have a slight yellow tinge and fine mottling.
It searches the undergrowth for beetles and other insects and may form groups of up to about a dozen outside the breeding season. It hides a dome-shaped nest near the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
