The Tody Motmot is a small motmot found from Central America to northwestern Colombia. It lives in wet forest and often moves its tail from side to side.
It is 16.5–18 cm long, with a rufous crown and nape, a turquoise eyebrow, and a black facial mask bordered below by two white stripes. The back and tail are green.
In tropical wet forest, it is shy and secretive. It frequently flicks its tail sideways like the hands of a clock.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
