The Forest Raven is a large corvid with black plumage and a white eye-ring. In Tasmania it is found from forests to coasts.
Its plumage, bill, and legs are almost entirely black, and a white ring surrounds each eye. The bill curves to a hooked tip.
It uses alpine and wet eucalypt forests, coastal scrub and beaches, and adjacent open country.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
