Peters's Trumpet-eared Bat lives in lowland forests of Southeast Asia. It searches for spiders in dense vegetation and may use abandoned bird nests as a day roost.
Its brown to black fur is tipped with gold, and its underside is paler. It has flared, funnel-shaped ears with a conspicuous white tragus.
It is a maneuverable flier and appears to forage in dense vegetation where orb-weaving spiders live. Day roosts have been found in abandoned broadbill nests, which the bat may enter through a hole cut in the nest's bottom.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
