The Bismarck White-eye occurs on Papua New Guinea’s Bismarck and Admiralty islands. Its white eye-ring and black head stand out, and it uses habitats from forest to plantations and gardens. Some authorities treat it as a subspecies of Zosterops meeki.
It has a black head, a white ring around the eye and yellowish upperparts.
It is recorded in forest, edges and secondary growth, as well as plantations and gardens. The account lists seeds, small fruit, insects and caterpillars in its diet.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
