The Jamaican Red Bat is a reddish bat endemic to Jamaica. Few field records are known; some specimens came from nets over a tank in open grassland.
Its back is reddish, with a white spot where the forearm membrane joins the body; the tail membrane is furred.
All field specimens reported in the paper were netted over water. Three were taken above an earthen tank in an open grassy area.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
