This small bat has records from Guinea. A 2015 field study reported two genetically matched individuals under the former combination Neoromicia roseveari, with dark fur and captures in dense lowland forest.
Two bats genetically matched to Pseudoromicia roseveari in the Simandou survey had dark fur on both their dorsal and ventral surfaces.
In Guinea’s Simandou Range, genetically matched individuals were captured in dense lowland rainforest, including a site over a creek.
