Daubenton's Free-tailed Bat is a small bat whose tail tip projects beyond the tail membrane. Its back ranges from brown to gray, its underside is pale, and tree-cavity roosts are reported.
The tail tip projects beyond the rear edge of the tail membrane. Dorsal fur ranges from dark cream to reddish or grayish brown, while the underside is dirty white to pure white and paler than the back.
Tree cavities are reported as roosts, and the account describes it catching prey in flight at night. These statements follow the species account and do not assume identical behavior across both subspecies.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
