A medium-sized parrot native to Jamaica. Adults are mostly green, with a red throat and a yellow bill.
Adults are mostly green, with white around the forehead and eyes, reddish feathers from the throat to the neck, and a yellow bill.
In the wild it seeks fruit, seeds, flowers, and young leaf buds. Outside the breeding season, large flocks use communal roosts, range widely by day, and return late in the day.
