A forest-dwelling marten from Europe that climbs well.
It has a long brown body, a pale yellow patch on the throat and chest, rounded ears, and a bushy tail.
It searches for small mammals, birds, and insects on the ground around dusk and at night, and also eats fruit and berries. It usually lives alone and rests in tree cavities or other sheltered places.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
