Craveri's Murrelet is a small seabird that nests on islands off western Mexico; some wander north to California's offshore waters in late summer.
Compared with the similar Scripps's Murrelet, its bill tends to be slightly longer and thinner. It often shows a dark wedge on the side of the chest, and the underside of the wings is mostly dusky.
During the breeding season, a trilling whistle can be heard at sea near a colony.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
