The Long-toed Myotis is a forest-dwelling bat recorded across central Taiwan, from lowlands to higher mountains. Its dark, shaggy fur has lighter tips that create a frosted look.
The fur is long and shaggy, dark brown with lighter tips that create a frosted appearance. The underside is paler and buff-colored, and the tail is nearly as long as the head and body.
The paper describes it as essentially forest-dwelling and reports breeding females occupying small holes or crevices in caves. Lactating females were recorded from May to July.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
