This small bat is known from Cambodia, southern Thailand, and Vietnam. At one Vietnamese site, it was observed flying low over thickets and maize fields while foraging.
It is small, with light gray fur, dark gray ears and wing membranes, and thick pink pads on its feet and at the bases of its thumbs.
At Cat Loc in Vietnam, individuals were observed foraging about 1–2 m above the ground among thickets and maize fields.
