The Cinnamon-bellied Ground Tyrant is a ground-dwelling flycatcher that spends the summer in northwestern Patagonia and uses Andean foothills and steppe wetlands.
It has a black forehead and mask, a chestnut crown, a gray-brown back, pale throat and chest, and a cinnamon belly.
It occurs alone or in small groups, perches on rocks, and feeds on the ground. Its diet is presumed to be insects, and it nests in rock crevices.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
