The Northern Bat is a North American bat with long ears. It forages in forests during the warmer months and hibernates in caves or mines in winter.
Fur on the back ranges from medium to dark brown, while the underside is tawny to pale brown. Its ears are longer than those of many other Myotis bats.
It hibernates in caves and mines during winter. In warmer seasons it roosts under bark or in tree cavities and crevices, then emerges around dusk to hunt moths, beetles and other small prey in forest understory.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
