The Torresian Crow is distinguished by glossy black plumage and a white eye.
Its plumage is glossy black. The throat hackles are short, the bases of the head and neck feathers are white, and a fine blue-grey ring surrounds the white eye.
It eats grain, fruit, insects, eggs, and carrion. Adults are sedentary, while immature birds may move in flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
