The East Andean Antbird is a small antbird of Colombia’s eastern Andean slopes. Males are dark, while females are browner or more rufous.
Males have dark gray to black plumage with pale streaks on the wings and underparts. Females are browner or more rufous but also streaked. Both sexes have a long tail that they flick as they move.
It forages in dense undergrowth and forest edges, often in pairs or small family groups, picking insects and other small invertebrates from leaves and branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
