  • Orange-winged Pytilia Pytilia afra

The Orange-winged Pytilia is a waxbill with conspicuous orange-yellow wings. It feeds on grass seeds and insects on the ground; the female’s wing color is duller than the male’s.

  • Himalayan Black-lored Tit Machlolophus xanthogenys

This tit is marked by a black-and-yellow face, a strong dark eye-stripe, and white spots on the wings. Small groups search the middle and upper parts of forests.

  • Pohnpei Lorikeet Trichoglossus rubiginosus

The adult Pohnpei Lorikeet has deep maroon plumage, with olive to yellow on the wings and tail. It visits flowering trees in small groups.
