This medium-sized bat has grayish-brown fur. A local field guide reports observations in AlUla conservation areas at 700–1,300 m.
It is medium-sized, with grayish-brown fur that may have reddish patches. The ears are short, with a blunt, slightly forward-curving tragus; hair extends onto the upper base of the tail membrane.
The guide lists forests, submontane zones, escarpments, and human-modified areas as habitats and says it roosts in caves, mines, or tunnels. It mainly forages for moths and is described as nocturnal.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
