A medium-sized bat recorded in forests along the Andean foothills. It lacks a clear white dorsal stripe and has fine hairs along the edge of its noseleaf.
Its fur is pale and lacks a white stripe along the back. Straight hairs fringe the edge of its slender noseleaf.
Food evidence comes from one bat: its feces contained click beetles and scarab beetles. It has been caught in mist nets near the ground and in a natural opening in the canopy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
