The Pale-legged Leaf Warbler breeds in East Asia and winters farther south in Southeast Asia. It has olive-brown upperparts and a pale eyebrow.
The upperparts are brownish olive, with a gray-brown crown and nape. A long creamy-white eyebrow contrasts with the dark eye-stripe; the underparts are whitish with rusty-buff flanks.
On its breeding grounds it uses river-valley deciduous woodland and, in Japan, moist fir-hemlock forest, keeping to undergrowth and lower branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
