The Yellow-naped Amazon is a parrot whose green feathers blend into forest foliage as it flies and feeds in flocks.
It has yellow feathers on the back of the neck and mostly green body plumage.
It searches for food in flocks and eats seeds, fruit, leaf buds, and blossoms. Pollen can cling to its feathers and be carried to other plants.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
