Hildebrandt's Starling is resident in Kenya and northeastern Tanzania. It uses dry woodland and scrub and has been recorded foraging on foot near livestock.
The head and chest shine blue with violet tones, bordered by a black mask. The back and wings are green-bronze, the belly orange, and the iris orange-red; the sexes look alike.
It lives in pairs or small groups and eats insects stirred up by livestock. It can also catch insects in flight.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
