The White-throated Magpie-Jay is a large jay with a conspicuous white face and crest and a long tail. It ranges from southern Mexico into Central America and travels in small groups.
Its white crest, face, and throat, together with the long tail edged in white, are useful identification marks.
It inhabits tropical lowland forest, plantations, and semi-open places with tall trees. It often travels in small groups and may be quiet while feeding or conspicuously noisy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
