The Grey-breasted Spiderhunter lives in Southeast Asian woodland. Its olive back and fine streaks on the throat and chest are useful field marks.
It is bright olive above and paler, greyish olive below, with narrow dark streaks on the throat and chest.
It uses evergreen broadleaf forest and secondary growth, as well as gardens, settlements and cultivated areas. It is usually seen alone or in pairs, feeding on nectar and small insects in lower vegetation.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
