Davis’s Round-eared Bat is recorded in lowlands from southern Mexico to northeastern Honduras. It flies in the forest understory and feeds mainly on insects.
Head-and-body length is about 4.9–7.0 cm, forearm length 4.7–5.4 cm, and mass 14–23 g. It is slightly smaller than the similar L. silvicolum; some individuals have a gray throat.
It flies in the understory of mature and secondary forest and eats beetles and katydids. It sometimes eats fruit, and termite nests have been recorded as roosts.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
