Curry's Butterfly Bat is a poorly known bat recorded in Central Africa. A 2026 study added forest records from Cameroon.
A comparison with a close relative describes this species as having three-colored hairs and no shoulder spot.
One adult male and one adult female were collected in intact forest in Lobéké National Park, Cameroon, at 420 m and 440 m. These two records do not define the species' full habitat use.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
