The Sunda Long-eared Bat is a Nyctophilus bat known from a type locality on Lembata Island, Indonesia. Only one specimen is known, and its relationship to close relatives has been debated.
Comparisons with relatives note a relatively long third ridge on an upper back molar. Only one specimen has been recorded.
The type specimen was captured over a small pool in a dry stream about 200 m from mangroves; gardens and coconut and banana plants bordered the site.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
