A whale found in many of the world’s oceans that searches for prey in deep water.
It has a rounded, robust body and a triangular dorsal fin set far back. Its beak is not strongly pronounced.
It dives deep and feeds mostly on squid and octopus, sometimes fish and crustaceans. It is usually seen alone or in small groups.
