A large pigeon endemic to the Philippines, living in the canopy of primary and older secondary forest on the islands.
It has a white head, bluish-grey chest and back, green wings, a white to pink-tinged belly and a red eye-ring.
It is most often seen in the canopy of primary and older secondary forest, chiefly at 400–1,500 m, and may join mixed flocks.
