Ctenomys occultus is a tuco-tuco rodent recorded at only a few localities in Tucumán Province, northwestern Argentina. Its coat is described as cinnamon-toned, while its ecology remains poorly known.
It is small-bodied, with fur described as a warm cinnamon color.
Little is documented about this species in the wild. The underground habits of other tuco-tucos cannot automatically be assumed for this species.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
