The Yap Monarch is a monarch flycatcher endemic to Yap in Micronesia. It uses lowland forest, mangroves, and coastal scrub, moving slowly as it searches leaves and branches for food.
The male has a white body with a black head, wings, and tail. The female is mostly black with a white collar that widens across the chest. Juveniles are mainly brown and acquire black-and-white patterning as they mature.
It forages slowly and methodically among leaves and branches. Its habitats include lowland forest, mangroves, and coastal scrub.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
