A bat described from northern Myanmar. The only known specimen is an adult male captured in the Hkakabo Razi Landscape, Kachin State.
In the single described specimen, The holotype has an orange-brown back with long, bright golden guard hairs concentrated around the head, and a whitish-gray underside.
The only known specimen was caught in a mist net at the edge of lowland semi-evergreen forest where it met open grassland that is burned annually.
