The Yellow-faced Myna is a starling of New Guinea's forest canopy. Its yellow face and white rump are easy to notice.
Adults have bright yellow-orange facial skin and a white rump, which is conspicuous in flight. Juveniles have paler facial skin.
It uses the canopy of lowland and hill forest, especially near clearings and along river courses. The guide describes it as vocal and conspicuous.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
