Ctenomys perrensi is a tuco-tuco recorded in Corrientes Province, Argentina. A 2015 account used a monotypic treatment; a 2026 study recognizes three subspecies.
The 2015 account describes a dark buff back with a black line from face along the back and a pale patch behind the eye. The underside is buff, with white patches near forelimbs and inner thighs.
The 2026 study reports that C. p. iberaensis stays on sandy rises near Iberá during floods and recolonizes lower ground as water recedes. This applies to that subspecies.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
