The Brazilian gracile opossum is a small marsupial from forests and savanna in southeastern Brazil. It uses branches and vines but also searches for food on the ground.
Its back is reddish brown and its underfur buff-gray. The face is lighter, with a broad dark eye ring, and its white feet have elongated digits.
It is often found on branches and vines but also forages on the ground. It may rest in tree hollows, old nests inside trees, or bamboo boxes.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
