Cynomops kuizha is a bat recorded in lowlands west of the Andes. The published specimen records cover five localities across Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
The dorsal fur is dark reddish brown with pale hair bases. The underside is lighter brown and mostly uniform in color.
One local report from Bosque Protector Bosqueira in Ecuador recorded a roost under the bark of an Albizia tree.
