This small bat has yellowish-looking dorsal fur. Records come from Mexico's Pacific coast and the Marías Islands, and roosts include caves and tree hollows.
The dorsal fur looks yellowish; individual hairs are gray to pale fawn at the base and darker fawn at the tip. The belly hairs have buff to ocher tips, and fur extends onto the membrane between the hind legs.
Roosts have been recorded in caves, tree hollows, and rock crevices. On the Marías Islands, many have been seen flying before dark. Much of the species' natural history remains unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
