This titi monkey is known from lowland forest in Amazonas, Brazil. A reddish crown, white throat band, and black tail help identify it.
Its hands are orange, its tail and inner arms are black, and the reddish crown contrasts with a white throat band.
Behavior and ecology remain unknown. The assessment records it in Amazonian lowland forest at 100–200 m, but says habitat preference, including tolerance of disturbed forest, has not been studied.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
