A small warbler of New Guinea's montane forests. Its very high whistle descends slightly before leveling off.
It is about 9.5 cm long and brown and white, without yellow, olive, or gray tones, according to the regional guide.
The guide records it in montane forest, forest edge, shrubbery, and canopy from 900 to 3,400 m. Its song is a very high series of whistles that gradually drops and then stays level.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
