The White-crowned Starling lives in open scrub and acacia woodland in East Africa. It has a white crown and is described feeding on the ground.
The crown is white, the back and wings bronzy-green, and the wings have a white bar. The gray breast and flanks are streaked white, and the belly is white.
In thornveld, acacia woodland, and open pasture near farms, it forages in groups on the ground for insects, fruit, and seeds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
