The Sharp-tailed Starling is a glossy starling of open woodland in central and southern Africa.
Adult head, back, and underparts shimmer green, with blue-green ear-coverts. The sexes look alike, but females have orange irises and males have red irises.
It eats fruit and insects. Flock size varies by region, and it may make short movements during the dry season.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
