The Seychelles flying fox is a large bat endemic to the granitic islands of Seychelles. It roosts in trees by day and flies out at dusk.
Its body is dark brown and its wings are black, while the head and neck are bright orange-yellow. It has a prominent muzzle.
It eats fruit, nectar, and pollen, roosts communally, and usually leaves its daytime roost around dusk. It also disperses seeds of native trees.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
