Black & Gray

The Briard standard allows two of its black, gray or tawny colours to combine through gradual, symmetrical transitions without marked spots. In the Norwegian Elkhound, black hair tips help determine the gray shade: the saddle is darkest, while the chest, mane and shoulder-to-elbow harness mark are lighter.
