A small passerine with an orange-red breast, it feeds on grass seeds in wetlands and dry savannas of equatorial Africa.

This honeyeater lives in northeastern Australia. Field reports describe feeding at flowering eucalyptus and banksia in two Queensland locations.
- Medium-tailed Rice Rat Eremoryzomys mesocaudis
This rodent was described from the Marañón River region of northern Peru. A black line at the center of the nose tip is one of its diagnostic features.
- Rhinoceros auklet Cerorhinca monocerata
A seabird that develops a horn-like projection on its bill during breeding.
- Western Dwarf Squirrel Microsciurus mimulus
This small squirrel has reddish or olive tones mixed into its dark back. It is active by day, uses trees and the ground, and feeds on tree sap and insects.
- Black-faced spoonbill Platalea minor
A waterbird that sweeps its spoon-shaped bill from side to side in shallow water.
