- Western Hemispingus Sphenopsis ochracea
The Western Hemispingus is recorded from montane forest on the western slope of the Andes in Ecuador and Colombia. A 2022 taxonomic paper noted that only ten study skins were known and ecological information was sparse.
- Uniform Woodcreeper Hylexetastes uniformis
This woodcreeper occurs in south-central Amazonian forest in Brazil and northern Bolivia. Its species account describes a brown body, dark red bill, and redder wings and tail.
- Black-capped Tyrannulet Tyranniscus nigrocapillus
This small tyrant flycatcher has a black crown and two pale wing bars. It lives in moist Andean montane forest and often joins mixed-species flocks.
