It is recorded on Tobago, where a survey captured it in coastal forest, Main Ridge rainforest, and secondary forest.
Dorsal fur is pale brown to gray, with three color bands per hair. White lines frame the eyes; ear margins are pale, and long dense fur covers the forearm.
In a May 2008 Tobago survey, it was more often captured in coastal and secondary forests than in Main Ridge montane rainforest. It was also recorded near rivers.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
