This small bat is recorded from Brazil's southeastern Atlantic Forest. The study captured it inside forest and in a clearing bordered by tall forest, but did not observe it feeding.
It is a small bat with an elongated muzzle. The spear of its noseleaf is nearly triangular.
At the Linhares reserve, it was captured inside forest and in the center of a clearing bordered by tall forest. Another record came from a more fragmented forest landscape.
